Tips on finding a present for your boyfriend

Tomorrow we welcome a new month of 2013, October. The first day of October is kind of a special day for me, just like any other first day of any month has been the past six months. My boyfriend and I got together on the first of April (I know April fool’s day...) But anyways, it has been quite a long time now and I just wanted to offer him a gift. But I bet a lot of you know how hard it is to even find one.

So I just sat down behind my computer and started searching for something. I began at zero and after only an hour I find the most perfect present I could’ve possibly found. (I hope…) So I’ll give you some advice on how to find something for your boyfriend, or even dad, granddad, and so on…

       First of all you have to know how much effort and money you want to put in this present. Is it for a special occasion or not? Does the person mean a lot to you, or not so much?
  -   If you don’t want to spend much money and a bit effort, just go buy something small in a regular shop or go somewhere the person in question buys a lot. Something cheap can be pretty too!
  -   If you do want to spend a lot of money and take time to search for something, you’ll may need some tips on finding something.

So basically what you can do is make a little (or big) list with all the things your boyfriend likes or even loves. Does he practice sports? What are his hobbies? How does he spend his leisure time?

Now that you know that, it’s possible for you to find something unique and therefor you shall need the internet. You can randomly type in something he likes and put ‘merchandise’ or ‘gift/present’ behind it. You’ll see where Google brings you.
Maybe you’ll find some ideas to make a special gift yourself that actually doesn’t cost lots of money. But if you do this, try to make something that’ll be useful to him. Another option is to find a store or online shop to buy a unique gift for your man.

My search for a present went a bit like this. My boyfriend loves sports, especially Ice hockey. He plays it himself and he’s reallyyy good at it! So I started searching for something that has to do with hockey and I found an online shop called CafePress. They sell a lot of different stuff, including hockey T-shirts. So I ordered one, hoping I’d got it before the first of October. And I did! It arrived today, after only a week. I’ll see if he likes it tomorrow, excited :D
